In this privacy policy, "Dakar", "we", "us" and "our" refer to Mediatehdas Dakar Oy and its affiliates. "Our services" refer to Dakar's products, the company website and any other similar services provided by us.

Dakar is committed to keeping your information safe. This privacy policy gives you information on how we collect, store and use your information. We may at any time change the policy.

Analytical data in this document refers to data where a single user is not identifiable. Data of this nature is used to produce statistics.

What information do we collect?

When you use any of the Dakar's applications on a mobile platform, we may collect and record certain information such as your unique device ID (persistent / non-persistent), hardware type, media access control ("MAC") address, international mobile equipment identity ("IMEI"), the version of your operating system ("OS"), your device name, your email address (if you have connected to Facebook or Google+), and your location (based on your Internet Protocol ("IP") address). This information is useful to us for troubleshooting and helps us understand usage trends.

In addition to the data we collect, our affiliates and partners such as various mobile market places may collect your information. Dakar cannot take any responsibility for information collected by these parties.

What do we do with the information?

Analytical data collected by Dakar will be used to improve the user experience, enhance our services and make business decisions.

How do we protect your information?

We do our best to keep your information safe. Dakar will try to ensure the safety of your data to the best of its capability. We cannot, however, take responsibility for the safety of our affiliate’s services. We do not warrant or represent that your information will be protected against, loss, misuse, or alteration by third parties. In some circumstances, we may be legally obliged to disclose your information to the police and other officials. We operate under Finnish law.

We do not knowingly collect or solicit any personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13.
